Inspired by The Last Showgirl, our short film "The Foreground" follows Sue Samuels — iconic Jazz dancer, choreographer, and teacher — as she reflects on a life devoted to movement. Her story unfolds in poetic improvisation alongside dancer Fiona Tsang, whose presence embodies the living, breathing relationship between dancer and her art.
